Car park at the changeover point

2a. Follow the path marked by an acorn 300 metres down the hill. At the bottom of the grass field pick up the acorn-signed Norfolk Coast Path (NCP) as you enter the shrubbed area. ⚠ Keep to the footpath and do not run through the car park.
2b. After about 20 metres bear first right (TF 679 424) W3W eruptions.longingly.rates up a slight incline and stay on the overgrown sandy path, keeping the beach huts on your left.
2c. Follow the path for 350 metres to Hunstanton Lifeboat Station. At the lifeboat station (TF 682 425) W3W reactions.servers.fellow turn left, then turn immediately right between the cafe and wooden garage onto the sandy path (signed NCP) W3W accompany.scanner.frock 
2d. Proceed for 1.2 miles along the NCP towards Holme-next-the-Sea, passing the golf clubhouse and keeping the fence close on your right. After the last block of beach huts turn left at W3W series.spillage.sharpens along the narrow sandy track up into the dunes, then turn right and continue along the NCP. At the fence corner proceed straight on for 30 metres and turn right onto the sandy path at W3W outsmart.clays.tanks 
2e. Follow the sandy path to the big signpost at W3W salads.tilt.adverbs and continue to follow the NCP (NOT the Peddars Way) through the old metal post and the 'No Through Road' sign. At the fork at W3W unfit.deal.inherits bear right (still following the NCP) and carry on up to the top of the raised bank/dunes.
2f. Follow this track for 1.5 miles until you reach the cross track junction in the wooded area with the NWT Holme Dunes nature reserve (TF 714 450) signed to the right. Go straight ahead, following the sandy track and boardwalk.
2g. After 250 metres, as you leave the wooded area and with the Holme Bird Observatory on your right, carry straight on along the boardwalk and then follow the NCP downhill for 1.2 miles until it merges with a tarmac road (Staithe Lane) (TF 728 439) W3W butchers.ringside.cage 
2h. Follow the tarmac road. After 90 metres ignore the Norfolk Coast Path sign to the left and continue along Staithe Lane all the way to the T-junction with the main A149 road W3W leans.joins.telephone 
2i. At the T-junction (TF 728 433) turn left and follow the main A149 road for 2.8 miles through Titchwell to St Mary the Virgin Church in Brancaster. ⚠ Beware of traffic on road. Do not proceed without mandatory escort.
2j. At the church turn left off the A149 into Broad Lane (TF 773 439)
2k. After 350 metres turn right onto the NCP (TF 772 442) W3W swoop.branch.volunteered . No cyclists allowed on NCP!
2l. Follow the NCP (most of which is a raised wooden boardwalk on this section) for about 1.5 miles.
2m. After 60 metres at a T-junction with a track at W3W infinite.scrolled.truth , turn left and follow the path round the back of some houses through an open boating anchorage area. Cross the road to rejoin the NCP and follow the path to Brancaster Staithe Quay, aiming for the gap between the two old sheds on the far side (TF 793 444) W3W overheard.craftsmen.parks . Go through the gap between the two sheds and continue along the NCP.
2n. Follow the NCP for a further 0.8 miles until reaching a well-defined cross track and open area with a lone black houseboat moored on the left (TF 803 444) W3W fruits.exists.flannel . Cross the open area and rejoin the NCP at the top of the grass bank ahead.
2o. Turn left to stay on the bank for a further 2 miles.
2p. From the end of the grass bank at the gate posts (0.70 miles to the changeover) W3W recital.sheepish.coherent cross the open field, going uphill. At the other side of the field turn left at W3W requiring.treating.bills and continue following the footpath, running along the hedge parallel to the road for about 500 metres.
2q. At the hedge bordering houses join the main A149 (TF 840 440) W3W positives.furnish.hazel turn left and continue for 550 metres towards Burnham Overy Staithe. ⚠ Beware of traffic - keep to the pavement
2r. When entering Burnham Overy Staithe turn second left into East Harbour Way (opposite 'The Hero' pub) (TF844 442). Continue down East Harbour Way for 100 metres. ⚠ Beware of traffic on road
2s. As the road turns sharp left, turn right onto the raised footpath and into the changeover at the far end of the wooden seat (TF845 444) W3W argue.streamers.chugging ⚠ Beware of traffic on road

Access point for vehicles: Holme Beach via road junction at TF700 429
Access point for vehicles: Turn left in Burnham Deepdale opposite Murco Garage (TF804 444). Park in cul de sac and then proceed 100 yards down track on foot.
