By agreeing to enter the Round Norfolk Relay, all participants (including but not limited to runners, escorts, support crews and marshals) accept the following terms and conditions in full.
By submitting a team entry, all team captains and team coordinators also accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all participants they enter in this event, and are responsible for ensuring that all team participants are directed to read and accept them in full.
You agree to read and abide by the General and Safety Rules of the event and to observe the Highway Code and Countryside Code at all times.
You confirm that you have familiarised yourself with the relevant stage directions and have sufficient knowledge, experience, equipment and navigational skills to take part in a long distance relay running race in all weather conditions.
You confirm that you are in good health and property trained and fit, and have no medical condition that may cause undue concern or inconvenience to others.
You confirm that you participate entirely at your own risk and that no liability is accepted by the organisers for injury, damage or loss sustained by you before, during or after the event.
You understand that you must comply with any reasonable instruction given by an event official or volunteer on race weekend.
You confirm that you will return all plastic vehicle signage, batons and GPS trackers to the organisers immediately after the event.
You understand that the personal information submitted on the entry form will be held by the event organisers for up to three years after the event is held, for the purposes of managing this event only. You accept that photographs and footage are likely to be taken documenting the event, which may be featured on RNR social media as well as other media and for marketing and publicity purposes. In addition, you understand that your name, age band, sex, distance covered and time recorded may be published immediately and may be held in perpetuity for the purposes of providing a record of the event. You will have the right to request that all your personal Summary Information be anonymised but not removed.
